Massasoit Community College is pleased to announce that Governor Charlie Baker has appointed Deborah C. Enos to the College’s Board of Trustees. Ms. Enos’s appointment fills the vacancy of trustee David Lincoln Phillips who recently concluded nearly ten years of service to the Board.
Ms. Enos is a senior healthcare leader who was most recently President and CEO of Neighborhood Health Plan in Boston. An Ashland resident, she holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and her Master of Science degree in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health. She was sworn in on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, prior to the monthly Board meeting.
“We are delighted to welcome Deb who has attained recognition in her field and has an exceptional record of commitment to community service. She has extensive experience in leading complex, multi-faceted organizations, and her experience in strategic planning, program development, and organizational leadership will complement the Board,” said Dr. Charles Wall, president of Massasoit Community College. “We look forward to working with Deb to continue advancing the College’s mission and strategic initiatives.”
Mr. Phillips began his tenure on the Board in 2006 and served two consecutive terms as trustee. He is an alumnus of Massasoit Community College and earned his bachelor’s degree from Amherst College. He currently works as an Account Executive at Comcast. Mr. Phillips has a long history of community and civic engagement, serving as a member of the East Bridgewater Lions Club, the East Bridgewater Business Association, and the East Bridgewater Housing Authority.
“Dave has been an esteemed member of both the Board of Trustees and the Massasoit community. He holds a deep connection to the College and has been a steadfast advocate of its mission to provide a high-quality, affordable, accessible education to all who desire to learn. We thank him for his dedicated leadership,” said Dr. Wall.
